Voter Registration
GW students may be eligible to vote in the District of Columbia if they meet certain conditions. Detailed information is available from the D.C. Board of Elections or by calling 202-727-2525 (voice) or 202-639-8916 (TTY). D.C. voter registration forms can be downloaded from the Board’s site and are also available in Colonial Central.
The Election Assistance Commission of the United States makes available a National Mail Voter Registration Form which can be used to register to vote, report a change of name, report a change of address, or register with a political party. The national form also contains voter registration rules and regulations for each state and territory.
