The GW SMHS MD Program Office of Financial Aid administers a variety of institutional scholarships that are awarded on the basis of merit and/or financial need. Additionally, you may explore non-GW administered scholarships. Your aid package may include different types of financial aid funds. The pages in this section describe the GW administered and alternative types of scholarship aid available.
Please note that students may only receive funding up to the cost of attendance. Any scholarship funding that exceeds the cost of tuition, fees and books and supplies may be considered taxable income.
