The consumer information page contains important resources for prospective and current GW students and to assist the GW community in finding important institutional information.
Incoming students begin their academic work in the last semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Students will first be packaged for summer. A separate request must be submitted for the fall/spring semesters. Students will be packaged as follows: institutional scholarships, Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan. If additional scholarship funds are awarded to a student, the package will be revised.
An aid offer notification will be provided to you via email after these materials have been submitted and reviewed.
Aid is disbursed evenly between fall and spring semesters. Students will be packaged as follows: institutional scholarships, Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan. If additional scholarship funds are awarded to a student, the package will be revised. Current aid recipients should have been packaged for summer 2024, if you need to make adjustments to that aid, please submit the Summer Loan Adjustment Form.

Please note that eligible students who are enrolled, at least half-time, in the MPH portion of the program you will be eligible for extended Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan Limits. For the nine-month academic year, this is $33,000. An additional $4167 is available for the summer session.
