The consumer information page contains important resources for prospective and current GW students and to assist the GW community in finding important institutional information.
Incoming students begin their academic work in the last semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Students will first be packaged for summer. A separate request must be submitted for the fall/spring semesters. Students will be packaged as follows: institutional scholarships, Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan. If additional scholarship funds are awarded to a student, the package will be revised.
An aid offer notification will be provided to you via email after these materials have been submitted and reviewed.
Aid is disbursed evenly between fall and spring semesters. Students will be packaged as follows: institutional scholarships, Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan. If additional scholarship funds are awarded to a student, the package will be revised. Current aid recipients need to apply for aid for the summer of 2025 and then fall 2025 and spring 2026. Please submit the corresponding financial aid request forms.

Please note that eligible students who are enrolled, at least half-time, in the MPH portion of the program will be eligible for extended Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan Limits. For the nine-month academic year, this is $33,000.
